National Asbestos Register

If you have been exposed to asbestos in the past or recently, you can register your exposure with the National Asbestos Exposure Register. Registering your exposure on the National Asbestos Exposure Register is quite a simple process, however, vbr Lawyers are happy to register your past or recent exposure at no cost as a community service and as part of our commitment to the eradication of asbestos from our community. The function and purpose of the register is to ensure that there is a record of asbestos exposures and so that important data can be collected by the Commonwealth Government to identify members of our community who are at risk. Registering your exposures as and when they occur or past exposures is also very helpful if you have the misfortune of being diagnosed with an asbestos related disease if you are seeking compensation and needing to trace or recall your past asbestos exposures. All of the information held on the National Asbestos Exposure Register is confidential and cannot be released to anyone without your consent.
