Why choose vbr Lawyers for your compensation claim?

Back in 2017, the three founding directors of vbr Lawyers decided to leave the partnership of a large plaintiff firm to start their own firm and to do things better and differently for our clients.

vbr Lawyers are deliberately different because:

  • All of the lawyers at the firm are ‘hands-on’ or directly involved in all of the matters they agree to take on and from start to finish
  • While we offer our services on a speculative or “No Win – No Fee” basis, we do not charge any uplift as many other compensation law firms do with many charging an uplift of 25% on top of their professional costs due to the risk they take on and due to not being paid until the end of the matter and only if successful
  • Our hourly rates are modest and indeed very modest compared with most other firms and particularly ‘the big compensation law firms’ and by up to 50% less or more
  • The majority of our clients are from personal referrals from past happy clients
  • We enjoy very low staff turnover, which benefits our clients and the firm as you will be dealing with the same people without a regular change of your point of contact or solicitor which is a regular complaint we receive when clients are looking to move from their current law firm to us
  • The directors of the firm have an hourly charge out rate of $495 per hour (inclusive of GST) and all other professional staff are less than this rate.  Our hourly rate or fee structure has not increased in 8 years since we started the firm
  • We enjoy an excellent reputation amongst other plaintiff and defendant law firms, which is why we have featured as a market leader, pre-eminent, leading and recommended law firm in our area of expertise, which is compensation law since the inception of Doyles Guide to the Legal Profession.   https://doylesguide.com/
